# Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

> By using the Afrizione mobile app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

## 1. About Afrizione

Afrizione is a community and church management platform that helps churches and faith-based communities connect, communicate, manage members, and process offerings. Your workspace is managed by a designated administrator from your community.

## 2. Your Account

- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- One account per person. Do not share your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use this app.

## 3. Acceptable Use

You agree **not** to:

- Post content that is harmful, abusive, hateful, or illegal.
- Impersonate other members or staff.
- Use the app to send unsolicited messages (spam).
- Attempt to access another member's account or data.

Afrizione reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

## 4. Your Content

- You own content you post (messages, photos, updates).
- By posting, you grant Afrizione a limited license to display that content within your workspace.
- Your content is private to your workspace and is not visible to other workspaces or the general public.
- Content that violates these terms may be removed without notice.

## 5. Offerings & Payments

- Offering payments are processed via **M-Pesa** (Safaricom).
- All transactions are final. Refunds are only issued where required by Kenyan law.
- Transaction records are retained for a minimum of 5 years as required by financial regulations.
- Afrizione is not a banking institution and does not hold your funds.

## 6. Privacy & Data Collection

We collect only what is necessary to run the platform:

| Profile photo | Member directory display |
| Messages and posts | Delivering your content within your workspace |
| Offering records | Transaction history and receipts |
| Device push token | Sending notifications (verse of the day, events, messages) |

**We do not sell your personal data to any third party.**

Your data is:
- Stored on secure servers.
- Accessible only to you, your workspace members, and your workspace administrator.
- Never shared outside your workspace without your consent, except as required by law.

## 7. Notifications

The app may send you push notifications for:

- New messages and mentions
- Upcoming events
- Daily Bible verse reminders

You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

## 8. Data Retention & Deletion

- Your data is retained as long as your account is active.
- You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting your workspace administrator or emailing **info@afrizione.co.ke**.
- Upon deletion, your data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

## 9. Your Workspace & Administrator

Your workspace administrator has the ability to:

- Add or remove members from the workspace.
- View member activity within the workspace.
- Manage groups, events, and settings.

Afrizione is not responsible for actions taken by your workspace administrator.

## 10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, you will be asked to review and accept the updated document before continuing to use the app. Continued use after acceptance constitutes agreement to the updated terms.

## 11. Limitation of Liability

Afrizione is provided "as is." We are not liable for:

- Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our control.
- Actions taken by workspace administrators.
- Service interruptions due to maintenance or third-party failures.

## 12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the **Republic of Kenya**. Any disputes shall be resolved under Kenyan jurisdiction.
